The excellent Channel 4 in the UK is not backward with coming forward with ‘anti’ stuff about Jesus Christ. There were loads over the Christmas period last year. In fact, every few months there’s yet another documentary. Indeed, thinking about it there are similar documentaries on BBC Four, and doing the rounds on some of the Discovery type channels.

Door to door god salesmen

Door to door sales people piss me off. I don’t want their double glazing. I don’t want their god. So, I was pissed off to find a missive from a god botherer of the Christian flavour (there are so many different gods and so many different Christian gods) perching itself on a site I use to wax on and on and on about one of my obsessions, radio. What the fuck? It was not only going on about god, but also about how we should all forgive and forget. Bollocks to that. If somebody talks to me using a logical argument about forgiving and forgetting then, fine, I might well think about it, but, oh no, it’s the bloody god card that has to be pulled.

Could we really live with peace and love?

I doubt we will see a real peace until we eradicate a few of the dominant and aggressive religions from the world. It is those that are at war, and the people are but the fodder.

What an interesting programme I just watched on BBC Four. I’m actually quite surprised that I haven’t heard tales of the BBC being burned at the stake by hordes of angry Christians.

Going to a Carol Service

It’s weird being an outsider, y’know. I went to a Carol Service, ‘cos it was Christmas, innit.

Ok, let’s examine this: I didn’t go because it was Christmas. It was to do stuff related to recording the service in pictures. And because it was Christmas, that’s why the Carol Service was happening. But hey, I’m probably explaining stuff you already know.
